Heard a rumor today that Summerside is negotiating with the Rocket for Clow to be released to them.

That would be a stupid idea and im guessing Clow would be pissed considering he was being persued by NCAA schools all last season...

I was told by someone around the Summerside team that it was so, but that the Rocket wanted assurances that if they call him up, Summerside has to let him go, whether they are playing that night or not

I am Clow's uncle. I have heard no such news about this transaction. I would have heard from his agent if there was something cooking. He will patiently wait and hope for a chance, and if things don't get better, he will address that at Christmas

Clow is a tremendous talent and as I have said before will be a quality player for the Rocket in the league.
Right now he just needs some time to adjust to the league and continue his development.
And IMO for the time being there is nothing wrong with him, Malouin and Deighan sharing 2 regular spots on the defense. As they adjust they should get more and more ice time.
I know rocketlauncher is just sharing what he has heard but IMO Summerside may have asked about Clow which is likely where the rumour came from but no way do I see him playing Jr A.

that would be ok if he was actually being rotated in... but when he dresses and sees no ice in a game we had won against a team full of other rookies (lewy ) that is inexcusable
i hope he doesnt have to "adress" anything at xmas

if clowe is supposed to be so good , why doesnt he play? ever since last march we have heard about him going to be basically the next bobby orr....he is going to be the offensive threat the rocket need on the blue line.....no doubt the kid is good ....but , good doesnt cut it on this years rocket team....

i said all along, he can skate, but thats it. he is soft, and weak on the puck, i would love to see him improve in htese area's as i like isalnd kids to succeed as much as the next person. i dont care if the rocket have any island kids if they win. and if clow was not an islander, no one would be saying a thing about it, would be just another kid who didnt make the cut.,,,
