i also feel that clowe was overated from the start but the kid gave up his ncaa eligibilalty to play for the rocket and should be given the chance to play for the rocket , if he plays he will gain some confidence and maybe will develop into the player that the team thought he would be.

maybe he will, but he will get his chance, if not thisyear, then next.

i said, he can skate, but is soft, and weak on the puck. these things can be overcome. if the rocket thought he would be an improvement right now, they would certainly put him in the lineup. its up to him, he can suck it up , work his ass off in practise and try to get into the lineup. not once did i say he was no good. he is just not good enough right now to get into the lineup.

Did he say something that I missed that said he was not sucking it up?

i would love to see him make it. but i also am against putting a kid in the lineup just because he is an island kid.

well. its improbable that he will be with the team by Christmas. He will either be in Jr A or traded, so it does not really matter anyway

jrA i can see. but not traded. he is still young, and i highly doubt they would give up on him after just a couple months.

I would expect it would be him giving up on them not them giving up on him. I am sure there is a team somewhere in the league that might be willing to give hima shot. If hes not good enough after being evaluated by two teams, he can move on with his life and do something else.

Will we have to go through this every time Clow is a healthy scratch?
He'll get his chance.

I never said he would not get his chance guys. Noone knows that. And I would really like to stop talking about him too. I was just reacting to people making these sorts of comments at this point when he has not been contributing to the problems we are having right now. Hes not in the lineup most nights to make a difference either way.....lets just leave this topic alone.
