Thought it's just a tongue in cheek remark, you raise an interesting topic.... If Jean gets the axe, does Micalef get promoted to the head coaching job? If so, is it a temporary move? cb I would assume that Micalef would be interim for a while at least. They're already paying his salary, so it would eliminate adding another one to the books. Serge seems to be pretty high on the guy, at least if you look at his comments when he hired him. Could be wrong though. In fact the comment was mostly a joke... but if they put forth another effort like that tonight. At least Jean will have the flu excuse to fall back on. |

You think Serge actually trusts his coaching staff? Remember the last time Jean was out? Serge would most likely get behind the bench himself until a replacement was found.

Dunno what you people are talking about. There is NOT going to be a coaching change in September, folks! Hoping for a better game tonight, getting ready to leave, looking forward to it. All aboard! It's almost October, can they make one then??? The guy has had 2 full seasons to ice a good team, and everyone is waiting for it and we hear the same thing year after year, wondering if it's just a ploy now to sell season tickets. I enjoy going to the rink, but to be truely honest I'm really disappointed this season and there is a good chance it might be my last year holding a season ticket. |
