Do we know what the key dates are in the O'Leary situation?

Do we know what the key dates are in the O'Leary situation? "such team must declare their intentions one week prior to the QMJHL Priority Selection Draft and such player re-enters the current QMJHL Priority Selection Process." Might be the old rule but I believe that part is still true.

Might be the old rule but I believe that part is still true. Another little piece that you should have kept reading with that rule is the team that declares the player be entered back in the draft get the pick 5 spots after the spot he was originally picked. You said earlier that you could get the 15 pick for him but it's the 19th. If it's the 19th they could say it's the last of the first round or first of the second. That part is up in the air though.

It was the 2nd last line on the page so if I kept reading I wouldn't have read that Looks like I was reading the old rule. After more digging I also see the timeline for pick forfeiting is: "Starting with the 2014 draft, teams need to declare their request for a compensatory draft pick before the list of prospects for the next entry draft is announced."

Is that the CSR first list or another later could be a big difference.

Is that the CSR first list or another later could be a big difference. Honestly not sure. The rule was posted a lot less official and a lot less descriptive than the original one lol If CB wins a title it will be tarnished by the Roy advantage! If CB wins a title and Nicolas Roy continues his spiral it might be the funniest thing I've seen in the Q yet.

As of right now, we have picks 3,4,5 and 19 depending on the O'Leary stuff.
Quite interesting, guessing Drummondville and Chicoutimi are going to want their picks back real bad.

Maxime Comtois, Alex D'Orio, and Adam Dawe to CB (E4) At this point it seems your season is on the ropes. At a certain point you may need to just dump and start over, while getting a coach that can teach high end talent.

About time some troubleshooting occurs. My #1 would be to get a new coach. Not an old recycled coach but a new young gun they take a chance on. Everyone has to start somewhere. I only have to point to the success of Pascal Vincent from the good days ( no playoff success though!) and Ducharme with Hfx. Who knows though , Durocher may end up here yet.
I respect Dumont and think he should stay on as GM. Similar to what one of the Hfx fans suggested a month ago. However , I am starting to lose my respect for him as a coach. They need to bring in new blood to work with the talent Dumont built here.

He was with the Moose for 3 years under Dom. He went to Quebec to be head Coach of a Midget team. I think he would be a perfect fit for you guys.
