Is it me or is it just Savard cares more about money being brought into the civic centre, and worries more about ticket prices then actually carring about how HIS team is doing?

I can not imagine someone with as much invested in the team not caring about how his team is doing. As fans all we hear about from him is ticket sales. PR is not his strong suit.
As the boss he's not going to publicly whip the club but I expect behind the scenes everybody is getting presssured to perform.

They should be feeling the pressure because if not, there is something wrong. He likely does care about how the team is doing, but there is a big difference between caring and doing something positive about it. They have been putting the "PR spin" on things the last few years by going on about how things will be better next year, everyone needs patience, style of play will be exciting, have to give it more time, blah, blah, blah. That kind of thing doesn't work after awhile, because when those things don't happen people start to tune out the "PR spin" because that's all it is, just talk. PR can't be the only tool you use to keep people interested.

Call me gullable, but I believe Savard is sincere. He seems to like PEI and respects the fans opinion. Whether he does anything about it is another story. I think he is just ill informed and incompetent as a GM. He should really set aside his pride and let someone else manage the team instead of apologizing every year and taking the blame.
