It is hard to get into the season when there are large gaps in home games. Hopefully with there being 4 home games within 9 days (starting Wednesday) it will get the fans into it.

it's very hard to get into the season when the "promising" season starts off with a lackluster last place record
the schedule doesn't help but in our case it might actually be helping now.. I'd be afraid to see what kind of paltry attendance numbers we'd be having if say we had played 6-7 home games by now
it will get better.. it has to..

The Rocket track record certainly has a lot to do with getting motivated. Spend a lot of time in a rink with my kids. Getting to the point that I would prefer to watch my kids practice then go to a Rocket game. Things will change once the boys start winning at home. Away wins are good but the boys have to step it up when playing at home.

I agree that the schedule has not been the greatest.
Im looking forward to Fridays game as the Oceanic are in town.........but I am not pumped to see the Fog Devils this Wednesday at all.......Oh well, hopefully we'll see Gallant pound on that chump Boland though.

It has been a slow start but there is no where to go but up.
Although I wouldn't miss them,. I'm not too excited about the next two games.
For me the real test for the team will be the up coming games against Cape Breton. If they are going to turn things around and be a contending team this year there has to be some sign, not necessarily a win but two good solid efforts in those two games to convince me that this team has the potential to be competitive this season.

agreed my point is that a pair of games against a rebuilding Eagles team shouldn't be the judge of whether we've turned a corner (god i hate that cliche but it fits here) or not
those are games this team should win... not saying they will of course.. but they should

On paper this team should beat Cape Breton easily Maybe the Rocket management should have the guys take off the skates and put on an origami exhibition at the CCC. It might be more entertaining. Sarcasm aside, the game is played on the ice and what we've been doing on the ice this year has not been very entertaining, but for some reason I can not begin to figure out I continue to go faithfully and hope its going to get better.

Wallee...I agree the gaps certainly don't help. I always find it takes me a few weeks to get going.....Four home games coming up should do the trick....plus next week I'll be sandwiching 2 Rocket in with 2 Abbies for 4 straight nights of hockey.....hot damn!! On a plus side I'm extremely pleased to see McKinley, Paynter, Lachaine, etc. step up with some offensive output this past weekend. Hopefully this earns the 3rd Line some well deserved ice time....proven they can play and can get some points for the squad. Wonder if Gallant can shed any light on his former teammates coming up in the sched. Somebody said CB was rebuilding? So far they're 10-2....if that's rebuilding....wow!

It's good that we are all die-hard hockey fans. Going to a Rocket game is the same as driving by a nasty accident scene. We know that we shouldn't slow down to look but can't help ourselves.

On paper this team should beat Cape Breton easily "On paper" this team should not be last place in the entire QMJHL. Just took a quick look at the Fog Devils Board to see what was brewing and came across this post Looks like the origami match is on Wednesday night when these two paper tigers clash. ;D I don't think it'd matter much if Martin Brodeur was between the pipes. We need the team to start playing... period. Only God and Andrew Clements from "My Secret Identity" could singlehandedly carry this Fog Devils team. I hate to say it, but I think it's time to start looking at the coaching staff. The team is nowhere near this bad on paper.
