Great three game run by the eagles, hope it is a sign of positive things to come.New addiditions are fitting in very well and contributing, only a small sample of belanger so far but leBlanc and Anderson are dynamite.Good to see Dumont leaving the line combinations together, they are on fire right now, be crazy to break them up.Impressed with Dillon Boucher with his physical play and not afraid to drop the mitts neither. Maybe (shsh) we have turned the corner? Nice to see the goals against take a hit as well.

What kind of time line for Leblanc I wonder ? A game, 2 games , a week ? Hope sooner than later. Hopefully no games . I think he is better than Ellis when he played here.

Perhaps he will not match Ellis but even you have to admit that Leblanc is the best defenceman that we have had since him. Premature opinion aside.

Well i guess i will have to tell the truth, as my nickname implies, Our goaltender just got a a shutout that the eagles never got since 2012, Sully's first shutout in the Q and we had more shots on net than we did on Friday night and Leblanc not playing for two plus periods. I did a bit of research on this kid and how he got here ( the Q ) with hard work no other way and he was second star and first star for the last several games. From what i have seen he gets better and better every game which is the normal result of hard work. My point is we can only say " Sullivan played really well tonight " . Yes its a team effort but guys tell it like it is let us give positive feedback whenever we can. JUST SAYING!

Nope............he is not as good as Justin Hache ........get some more sleep . He might be.....Leblanc is only 18 remember. Unless you already were comparing him to Hache at 18 I guess. Either way both players were/are very good defensemen at the Q level.

Hache was and is an NHL Draft Pick now playing Pro .......everybody get some sleep , several of you had a rough weekend . Hache and Leblanc are both 7th round NHL draft picks. Look at their numbers in the Q at 16, 17 and 18 (thus far for Leblanc). You could say Leblanc is doing better than Hache did at the same age levels. But hey Hache being older and now playing AHL proves he must have been better than a younger guy drafted in the same spot NHL wise who hasn't even got old enough yet to get his pro chance lol. You may be right that Hache was better Hal but your arguing points to prove it are weak.

Hache was the Kevin Lowe Award Winner as " Defensive Defenceman of the Year " and a Second Team Q All-Star .
* I would love to see LeBlanc do both those things and see him surpass Hache .

team has looked very good the last three games, lets keep it going.Of note is the improved defensive play and goals against, the eagles have only allowed five goals against in the past three games, good recipe for success.Hopefully Belanger and Sullivan make a good goaltending tandem, Belanger hasn't been really challenged yet and Sullivan puts his heart and sole into his game.Keep up the good work Eagles.

One never knows hope we can keep it going. GO EAGLES GO you will pass a few teams in the standings......there is only a few teams in the league who have really scored much more than Cape Breton....the problem with CB has been keeping the puck out of their own net, not scoring. There is only 3 teams that allowed more goals than you. At the trade period bringing in guys like Leblanc, Gosselin, and Belanger addressed the problem that you've had all year......if you had those guys all season I would bet you'd be at the top of the division where everybody thought you would be.
