Should prove to be a very interesting weekend Drummondville Sat. and Halifax on Sunday. Would be great to come out with four more points, can we catch Chicoutimi?? One never knows hope we can keep it going. GO EAGLES GO you will pass a few teams in the standings......there is only a few teams in the league who have really scored much more than Cape Breton....the problem with CB has been keeping the puck out of their own net, not scoring. There is only 3 teams that allowed more goals than you. At the trade period bringing in guys like Leblanc, Gosselin, and Belanger addressed the problem that you've had all year......if you had those guys all season I would bet you'd be at the top of the division where everybody thought you would be. Crossing fingers on Belanger. We will all be able to gauge him better after the weekend. I presume the two goalies will split again.

Hache was the Kevin Lowe Award Winner as " Defensive Defenceman of the Year " and a Second Team Q All-Star . * I would love to see LeBlanc do both those things and see him surpass Hache . There we go! Those are reasons I can get behind lol. Although again in fairness, Hache achieved those things as a 19 year old. Leblanc hasn't even got there yet.

One thing that hal and I can agree on is that Ellis is special considering CB drafted him. Always special when you draft a home run. Feels especially nice that he was a 3rd rounder.

Eagles do their best work in the third round. Julien Pelletier - 2012 Kyle Farrell - 2010 Morgan Ellis - 2008 Olivier Roy - 2007
off the top of my head

Hinds and Anderson also give you some solid secondary scoring also.....should be a very solid team, at least for this division for the rest of the season.

man a few threads back I said Leblanc reminded me of Carrier but what I meant was Justin Hache who I believe was from the Bathurst area

That makes a lot more sense lol

hehe ... have to admit though that I was a fan of Carrier and it was to bad he got injured in what could have been a real breakout year for him
