Swit has been officially sent home till further notice and Wright has been sent down. According to the Rocket site he will be joining the Summerside Midgets. Shouldn't he be playing with the Caps or Abbies?

Both expected......
Wright will be with the Caps....as far as I know.
Swit is just not a 20yr old player in this league.....simple as that.
Now, Schmidt will be next.

If they are serious about contending they should trade for Joey Ryan.

isn't Ryan 20?
i think now we'd be better off targetting a 19 y/o.. no need to become this years version of the Titan revolving overage door
anybody know of some other 19 year old dmen around the league who might become available?
Sebastien Piche woulod be another one

if Victo decide to rebuild maybe Jason demers would be a solid addition as well
others in the top half of d scoring this year who might be available.. Mathieu Bolduc from Chicoutimi or Jason Legault from Val D'ors

I feel bad for Swit....all this guy wanted to do was play hockey. If th Rocket had no plans to keep him why did they let him sit for the last 3 weeks? I can't stand how they treat the players......There are lots of examples I could use of how poor the management treated players who weren't in their radar. Why didn't C.B. just trade Gallant for Haddad instead of Swit? I guess teams have their reasons but it sucks for the players sometimes.

I agree stang but unfortunately Swit may have wanted to play hockey but his on ice performance was very subpar
It does suck but I can't imagine he wouldn't have felt his time was done when the Rocket acquired Gallant

Good luck to Swit in whatever he does for the remainder of this season. I agree with stang07, this should have been dealt with 3 weeks ago and it's too bad players find out about things sometimes the way they do, like showing up at the gym and you see a former teammate there and realize you don't know where you stand.....but maybe someday this organization will realize regardless of things, these are still kids and no matter what they shouldn't be strung around. No different then any of us showing up at the office and finding out there is a new employee hired to probably take your place, been there and seen it before.
Good luck Jason, your a great a kid and I wish you all the best!

I agree that he should have been sent packing once they picked up Gallant..........but did he actually think that he would still be here with that move? When they acquired Gallant, it was obvious to all I thought that Swit was the odd man out.........did he think otherwise? but yes, good luck to him!

Score, I'm sure Swit realized the writing was on the wall when he realized Gallant was here but what is he supposed to do...go to the coaching staff and say" Where does this leave me??" Management should have released this guy as soon as Gallant arrived, period. I just hate the way these guys get treated, it really is the shits. There are proper ways of letting people go and Rocket Management don't seem to know how to do this. By the way, good post rocketfan44
