A split would be as realistic as I can get right now. Mind you the time that Guy will put in with these guys this week along with a semi-extended road swing can only improve matters. Will probably be the first real time he gets to possibly have one-on-one talks with the players.
Fingers crossed.

Not expecting anything more than two 60 minute efforts. Win or lose, I'll be happy if the effort is there.

I was kind of thinking the other night what might be interesting is to do a complete shake up of the lines. Here is what I was thinking.
Doyle-Morrison-Latal Walker-Locke-Kana McKinley-Lachaine-Gallant MacLean-CoonCome-Paynter
Lessard-Southorn Gervais-Malouin Main-Clow or Deighan
Just a way to maybe balance out our scoring a little. Walker has been great but hasn't been the shooter like he should be. I have liked Locke's effort of late and he showed some chemistry with Walker when they both first came, the key being Locke needs to play centre.
With all due respect to Cliche: CoonCome, Maclean and DesRoches should all be playing ahead of him.
Lessard & Gervais had a tough weekend together so I think we will see them split up and Southorn deserves more ice time. I personally like the idea of putting Malouin with Gervais right now.
Here's hoping for a good effort and am interested to see what changes are actually made. If anyone catches the Rocket's practice this week before they leave it would probably be a good indication of what we can expect.

I respect your opinion, as I enjoy reading your posts, but I really believe that Chris Doyle needs to be in the middle. His game is not the same on the wing. I wish it was, but so far it's not. Also, I am a big fan of DesRoches. I feel he could be a regular on this team and be a nice energy player, like Paynter, but with more skill. I also expect to see some of the 3/4th line players being shipped out at the deadline. This team has a couple young players in MacLean and DesRoches that can contribute each game if given a chance. Players like Cliche and Lachaine are just causing a jam on those lines.

I don't like to go off and criticize him, even though he does seem like something's not there. He has his moments but CoonCome, Maclean and DesRoches are all probably a lot better than he is. A lot of people keep saying like, why do we keep him on? why is he still here. I wonder it too. . But I think he needs to be sit out a few games and let the boys play.

Not worth going to Lewiston during the regular season, but in the playoffs, for sure!
Sneaking suspicion here that the Rocket will be playing Lewiston in the playoffs - if they're playing ANYONE, that is.
This weekend, the Rocket might get one point, and it'll be one of those "cheat" points, you know, the one you get for losing.
