a little unfair to judge Rioux after several weeks on the bench. I didn't see his play in this specific game but I'm sure he would have started more games if he had shown he was up to the task.

What I would do for tomorrow:
Out - Barbashev, Garland, Sweeney or Talbot-Tassi and Johnson or Burke
In - Leger, Jacob, Corson and Tesink

a little unfair to judge Rioux after several weeks on the bench. No it's not, he sucks, if the coaches were smart that would be Rioux's last game in a Wildcat uniform. that is not fair. the defense did not cover the wide open corner on the first three goals for Pei. there was nothing rioux could do with no help .having not played for at least three months, i thought he done fairly well.

In my view, Rioux let in a couple of very soft goals and that was the difference. The team spent a couple of Days in Halifax doing SFA, then back here to play Halifax, then game today early, then off to Halifax again. Make no wonder the team appeared to be flat today. Hope Dubeau doesn't get injured during the coming play-offs as Cats will be in a bad way.

Why didn't Dubeau play today with 1st overall still on the line?

I thought the whole team started to play more tentatively after Rioux let in the first goal. The defence stopped pinching and started backing out of the zone very quickly. Then it seemed everyone stopped hitting and were afraid to commit.

Yeah Murphy is out with a shoulder injury. was told Corson is in tomorrow I would imagine Sweeney, barbs, garland, dubeau are out. Macewen, corson, tesink, Talbot T and Jacob should be in.... I hate these last few games of the season. I'm terrified of someone taking out garland or barbs..... is dubeau injured or just on rest? I saw the trainer out looking at him yesterday hopefully nothing too severe....

Also, did anyone else notice Stephen Johnson left the game in the second period??? I hope he didn't get another concussion.

So how about that display from the Islanders at the end of the game today? Somewhat amusing considering the amount of whining that came from the Charlottetown board about Barbashev and Garland celebrating. I'm not sure I can recall too many displays as embarrassing as that one.
Part of me wanted to go on a rant about it, but what's the point? All I'll say is this...really goes to show the standard of "success" that franchise has when a ninth place finish and winning TWO of eight games against a division rival is celebrated like a bunch of snot nosed eight-year-olds.
At the end of the day, the overall results speak for themselves.

I think it is more of a payback when one team ditches it out other usually return in kind but it does not make any of them appropriate regardless of the standing
