So how about that display from the Islanders at the end of the game today? Somewhat amusing considering the amount of whining that came from the Charlottetown board about Barbashev and Garland celebrating. I'm not sure I can recall too many displays as embarrassing as that one. Part of me wanted to go on a rant about it, but what's the point? All I'll say is this...really goes to show the standard of "success" that franchise has when a ninth place finish and winning TWO of eight games against a division rival is celebrated like a bunch of snot nosed eight-year-olds. At the end of the day, the overall results speak for themselves. now that got me curious. What did they do?

Then Johnston asked Garland to fight, and asked him again during the 3 stars. What a tough guy. Only has 7 inches and 50 lbs on him. Kid has anger issues, was punching the cement walls behind the penalty box after being named first star. He had a good game have to say, but ruined it with his post game Shenanigans. He's such a easily rattled player, I fully expect if he pursues the pro game he ends up with a lengthy suspension at some point losing his temper. For a franchise that hasn't won series in 10 years and struggled against the cats all season it was a pretty funny display.

To be honest I saw Garland taunt other teams players many times and it has been mentioned before some people just rubbed it off saying that is part of his game as long as there is no penalty. That goes to every team in the league as long as the ref does not hand out penalties for that it is quite acceptable

By the sounds of things the Moncton fans and their players got a taste of their medicine and didn't like the flavour to much. After every win this year at the east link centre I have seen Garland and Barbashev carry on like "snot nosed 8 year olds " with their little sword flip so I kind of thought in this case what the hell. As for Ross I know for a fact even when he played in Moncton that he and Garland were not fans of each other. Oh well good luck to the cats. Would have enjoyed yas getting first overall but second place is a great success. Good luck guys

Just a hunch but I have a feeling we'll start Rioux today and tomorrow and maybe the first few playoff games. Dubeau already has a few records so it's time for Rioux to shine. Heck, might as well scratch Dubeau completely. Isn't Hugo Talbot-Tassi's season done? Maybe he's in town visiting his brother and he can dress as backup. Just a suggestion. I'm not sure if this was written somewhere but you were actually bang on about Rioux starting and Talbot-Tassi backing him up. What a coincidence. I think I'll be wrong about today though, I said yesterday that Rioux would get the start today but I'm thinking Talbot-Tassi could get the nod. Why didn't Dubeau play today with 1st overall still on the line? Didn't you win poster of the year a few times? Do I really need to answer that for you? So is this just resting Dubeau or did he get hurt last night? Resting. That's why he wasn't even dressed. Didn't want him to get tired opening and closing the door of the bench. It's a grueling 4 in 4 with the awards ceremony tomorrow night.

Perhaps if Garland wasn't such a moron during the season, none of that happens. Sent from my C6906 using proboards

Nobody has said it here that I can see ... but we will officially face Chic in Rd 1 ... we can't move up or down so we face 15th. They are a decent team that many felt should gave finished higher with their roster. They are the lowest scoring team of those in the playoffs ... decent defensively.
The real kicker is we'll face Yannick Jean again. He'll probably stick a shadow on Garland like he did Jaskin ... but Garland is far slipperier to contain.
Todays game in Halifax is meaningless to us ... but matters in the standings for Halifax, Gatineau and CB ... and the 3 teams they will line up with ... BBA, Que, Shaw. I'd sit Barbashev and Garland and a few others ... and get all of our young guys in today ... including Corson and Tesink. Start Talbot-Tassi.

It was about not dressing Dubeau that says they weren't concerened about losing.
