Quebec leads 3-2. Eagle face elimination in Quebec City.
Eagles seemed to run out of gas in game 5. Fully expect a 60 minute effort from them tonight in a must win scenario.
Sounds like its Belanger vs Fucale in goal.
If the Eagles can stay out of the box and generate some 5 on 5 chances they have a shot at forcing a game 7.
Sounds like Boston Pizza, Steel City, and Eastside Marios are showing the game.
Here's hoping for a big effort forcing a 7th game.

Graves - Maheux Brouillard - Murphy Dutra - MacDougall
Fucale Booth

Hopefully the two days off (feels like even longer ago than that since the last game) has been enough to replenish some of that proverbial gas in the tank. Which was clearly getting close to the empty mark in Game 5, heck near the end of Game 4.
Has anyone heard anything on Lazarev? I haven't heard much, assuming no news is bad news in this situation. Farrell wasn't able to contribute nearly as much as his usual in Game 5, still clearly recovering from injury. I don't know if two more days will make a difference or not.
Like Bauer said, we have to generate 5 on 5 chances to have any hope of winning. We did not threaten them at even strength much at all in the last game.
Hoping Belanger can give Quebec and its fans at least one more playoff nightmare.
The series kind of felt over when we lost Game 5. But as unlikely as it seems to win both games in Quebec.... if they can win tonight, anything can happen in a Game 7.
Edit: One more thing. If the Eagles somehow find a way to win tonight and tomorrow, it is already determined that they would face the Moncton Wildcats in round 2.
Hey, nothing to lose in thinking that way at this point!!!

Anything can happen in game 7 if we can win this one.
Lets see how our 20s play in a potential last game of their junior career.
Go Eagles

If the Eagles win tonight it will put more pressure on Quebec in game seven imo.
Hope to see Hinds & Anderson a little more active early in the game tonight.

Which team might be better on short rest depends on coaching, game 6 result, and team depth. Oh and Quebec still gets to go to the Memorial Cup even if they lose...that little detail. Go Eagles - I will be watching must see TV.

Lazarev is in.
Tower hurt/scratched, not sure.
Lines are..
Anderson - Farrell - Hinds Lazarev - Bishop - Svechnikov ( why are we moving Svechnikov off center, he creates so much more space off the wing! ) Dubious - Marinteau - Brunelle MacSween - Boucher - Smith ( would rather Smith on 3rd line RW )
Deschamps - Leveille MacIntyre - Gosselin Nosella - Lalonde Beaudin
Belanger

When he did get it, he had two guys closing down on him with his linemates still trying to catch up. Moving him to the wing will give him more one on one situations I think. He's a fast kid, hopefully Dumont can go out and get someone who can keep up with him. He could put a hell of a lot of points up next year.

Yeah that is also true, I think the idea for next year is Lazarev - Svechnikov - Dubois but who knows, I know that line could easily light up the league.

We are absolutely taking it to the Remparts right now, keep it up boys
Come the fuck on, we have so much offensive zone pressure getting hooked and held with no calls, first time htey get in our zone we instantly get a penalty.
Such horse shit
