this whole thing on reviews is absolutely foolish.
what i thing needs to be done is if a team requests a review and they are not successful then a 2 min. penalty should be assessed. this would stopped every second goal being questioned. its not only at this level , the same is gong on in the nhl.
completely nuts!

nothing wrong with reviewing that goal from lastnight. it was a very close call. nothing foolish about that in a close game.
if it were 2-1 for the visitor in game 6 late in the 3rd would it seem near as foolish?

I have no problem with the idea of reviewing goals or other critical plays in a hockey game.
BUT:
YOU CAN'T TAKE 8 MINUTES TO DECIDE HOW MANY SECONDS TO PUT BACK ON THE CLOCK,
...and more importantly,
TELL THE FANS WHAT THE FRIGS IS GOING ON!!!
Dumb, dumb, dumb.

we have officals on the ice, its their job to make the calls.
i am not saying last nights call was foolish, i am saying on a whole ....there are to many of them being done, thats what i am saying.
there is no consequence for any team to want a review. christ why not review EVERY play....
there needs to be controls.....

Wallee, there ARE controls, but there needs to be more efficiency in getting the damn review done, and in telling people WTF is going on!

I agree that they should be telling fans what the reviews are about and last night I thought that review did take some time.
But on the other hand, if the situation was reversed and the outcome of the review was to determine if the Rocket had scored a winning goal or not, I would want the officials to take the time and make sure they got the call right instead of rushing through it and disallow a goal because the review was deemed inconclusive. I know the review last night wasn't for a situation like that, but if they are to take the time and ensure the correct call is made on a review for one type of situation, then they should make the same efforts in other situations also, no matter how trivial it may seem.
