Well I am pretty surprised that no one started a thread yet on this match up as its going to be a very key game for the rocket. If the Rocket can pull out a win tonight i think this could be a Big turning point for the Rocket. They played really good last night Vs val D'or played good all around the ice. Tonight will be a bit of a tougher match i think as Bathurst Crushed Chi Last night 10-2 or something like that So they are coming off a big win As are the Rocket So should be a really good match up. Laf is starting to get his game back i do believe. I think the Rocket will pull out the win tonight as they are prob pumped up they finally won a game and realize that its time to get back into the standandings as they are 5 points back of Moncton. GO ROCKET GO 4-2 Rocket Win

The Titan are a very talented offensive team. There weakness is in between the pipes and their back end is not top notch either. The Rocket need to maintain pressure in the offensive zone and try to cause the Titan players to hook or hold them up and take penalties. With the offensive players the Rocket have, being successful on the powerplay is very important. This game will be a tough one, and should be a real good game.

The only weakness on Bathurst maybe would be defense....and they've been playing very well lately.....defense seemed to pick up the play when the rest of the team did.....effort is the key and that's been there for the last 5 games....between the pipes they are fine as Tardif is starting to play really solid......he's got 5 wins in a row now......offense is awesome scoring 18 goals in the last 2 games and 31 in the current 5 game winning streak......Perreault is starting to play like the MVP we saw last year.......he is dominating games right now and with Masse and Joly on that line they are dangerous every shift...Joly has something like 8 goals in 4 games since they've been together....... should be a good test for PEI, and could be a good game........can't wait.

this is a much bigger test for the rocket. it will be intersting. reading the val dor comments from everyone, i think there is bit too much optimism. tonights game will show a little better. in reality the dors were tired and they are not a STRONG team.
anyways, lets hope we can produce another good result, lets go rocket...

Good offense, young D and suspect goaltending? Sounds like the Remps game from Oct. If the D is that young and inexperienced then pressure them all night and get right in their faces. Same with the goaltending....shoot, shoot, shoot. If you get the puck fire it on the net, get in gront, create screens, look for rebounds.....in other words basic hockey.
I agree with everyone so far....last night was great to see a win under the new boss, but the divisional games are usually a little tougher and Bathurst will be no different.
The thrill of Marchand throwing me a puck hasn't worn off, so Rocket win a tight one....4-3, with the winner coming in the dying minutes of the game.

Good start so far for the Rocket.
2-0 with around 6min to go......nice PP goal by Matty Lachaine. Kid has been playing well as of late!

2-1 Rocket in the 2nd period.
The camera work so far in this period is terrible.........waaaaaay to damn bright. Cant even see the lines on the ice as the players skate through center ice. EDIT: Camera seems to be fixed now.
Bad penality by Cliche.......he can't be taking this hooking calls when he's on the bubble.
2-2 now as the Titan get a PP goal while Cliche was in the box.
3-2 Rocket, as Mo took a nice pass from Doyle and buried the puck high past Tardif.

Nice to see Bathurst's 16 yr old, Critchlow, getting a regular shift...

Nice to see Bathurst's 16 yr old, Critchlow, getting a regular shift... MacLean will get his ice time as well......according to Guy from the local newspaper the other day. “We have to careful with our kids and it’s the same thing as MacLean as a 16-year-old. It’s one thing to carry young guys, but if you don’t play them I don’t think they develop right,” he said. “I’m not going to have a 16-year-old sit in the stands for eight, nine, 10 games and look at everybody else.”4-4 after 40 minutes of play.

A really good road win. They need to keep this winning trend up because we really need the points. Lefleur is looking better in goal and Main is looking solid in the 1st defensive pairing. I am looking foreward to next home game against Bathurst.
