Heavy Rocket contingent at the Abbies-T-Wolves game last night.
Serge Savard, Gary Connelly, Guy Chouinard, Jamie Blanchard, Corrado Micalef and a few of the players.....Bryan Main, Brad Gallant, Martin Latal, Pierre-Luc Lessard, Benoit Gervais
Couple of the guys went down to talk with Mosher after the game....a 4-3 win by T-Wolves. Mosher looked good and made some key saves when called upon including some outright robbery with his glove. Stopped 33 of 36 shots. Owens got an assist.

That's good to see, boys out supporting local hockey.
Fact that McDuck, Attila and company were there suggests they were scouting Mosher.
Fact that they're scouting Mosher suggests that he might be back here after Christmas, if "the trade" happens.

Or perhaps it was a chance for Chouinard to see Mosher play as he never had the opportunity to see him at camp, and due to scheduling he might not be able to get on the road to see him play in the MJAHL. Not saying that he won't be here after Xmas, but it might be a case of the new coach/director of hockey operations just getting a look at a prospect rather than a suggestion that he will be joining the team after the trading period.

I don't think you can read too much into the fact that the staff were there being a sign that they'll have Mosher back at Christmas time because they'll trade Lafleur. A chance to watch one of their top prospects in their backyard, so they went to watch. I'd imagine that's all it was.

Not necessarily Lafleur - they may trade GĂ©linas, no?
So, Reggie, did McDuck win the 50-50?

Nice to see the Rocket brass are showing that Mosher is a big part of their future plans but watching him play in Ch'town doesn't necessarily mean anything more than simply keeping tabs on his progress. And I think it would be a bad decision to bring Mosher up. He is reportedly playing terrific hockey in Jr A so leave him there for the entire year, let he continue to develop and come into training camp next season with some confidence so that him and Gelinas can handle the goaltending and challenge for the starter role.

is gelinas not an 18 year old? could they not get something for either him or mosher? but, i agree leave mosher for this year in jr.a, unless he is going to get lots of playing time if called up.

I don't care what anyone says, in the few times i've seen Mosher play VS the Abbies this year he's looked quite sharp...at the same time, Alex Dupuis (who's a Wildcat's draft) is absolutely amazing. Different league, different game, but he comes up with 2 maybe 3 WOW saves a game.
Back to the issue of Mosher, it would not surprise me to see him back with the Rocket sooner then later depending on what happens. I think his stint in JR A has been good for him and he has played well as i said.
Also Chad Locke makes me laugh, I was announcing the game last night and he was still making music requests, i'm surprised he doesn't tell the boys in the box at the CCC to radio some of his requests up to me. Neither here nor there, but he's one of a kind!
Final note, Chris Owens had a couple of points last night and looked solid out there, we still have his rights, correct? He wouldn't be a bad addition either from my standpoint.
