Wow we have some solid returning guys and prospects. Not sure if Cam is on the phone to make any deals. You have to say guaranteed spots for C. Fitzgerald, Ford, Nauss and Donaghey. Flower would probably almost be a favorite and lots of good things being said about Lepage. I can see Taillefer losing his spot maybe even Hunter. Not sure where Argento fits into the picture either. They will need to shelter most of that D until at least Xmas, so they likely carry more until then for experience. They could then make room if guys show they can handle the load. Of course there will be the annual have to cut to 6 in training camp posts. Goal is more flexible in this regard with 20s traded anytime, so it is up to Resop right from the start. Lots of potential backup material.

No Dachyshyn is disappointing, but should give Blain-Dupuis or Vanier a better chance at cracking the back end of the lineup.

I would keep Hunter he impressed me the second half last year and was solid in the playoffs

However it is confirming that Cooper Jones is showing up to camp. Should make for an interesting battle. And how could I go a post without mentioning: He's a right-handed shot

So correct me if my math is wrong: Not reporting or not invited to camp: 2015 draft: 7 #116 Halifax Mooseheads Shawn Kennedy (F) 14 #242 Halifax Mooseheads Matthew Fawcett (F) (American) Import: 2 #79 Halifax Mooseheads Joachim Blichfeld (RW/LW) 2014 draft: 3 #56 Halifax Mooseheads John Marino (D) (American) 3 #57 Halifax Mooseheads Barrett Dachyshyn (C) 8 #134 Halifax Mooseheads Cédric Lévesque (LW) (No stats last year, quit hockey?) 13 #236 Halifax Mooseheads Gabriel Morin (RW) (Played in the QCHL last year, which is a Quebec college hockey league) 14 #254 Halifax Mooseheads William Gonthier (D) (3 points in 44 games last year in Quebec Jr. AAA) Free Agent Invites: Drew Packman (F) www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=194202Blake Fudge (F) www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=271983It'd be something now if Cooper Jones finds his way onto the roster. I assume we'll have to guarantee him a sport in the top 6 dmen within 48 hours of him reporting to camp. So unless he steals the show, he might not stick around. Players not reporting can get annoying. But it happens to every team. And it could be much worse (Ask the Eagles).

The only 2 players who likely had a shot at cracking this roster were Marino and Dachyshyn. Maybe Cam is realizing how futile the 3rd round of the draft has been for us so he had no problem trading away our 3rd round pick to move up for Putintsev In all seriousness, yea, players not reporting is a bit frustrating but, you win some, you lose some. Gotta take a few gambles here an there to get exceptional players.

Not so bad with extra picks later in draft, almost a must to gamble to get a roster player. Just not so great in the past when they had limited picks.

Charelbois and Flower will fight it out on D for a 16yo spot and Durandeau is a given as a 16 yo F and Ben Higgins has a great shot - its him or Joel Bishop for the other 16
