Your gonna see how good Belanger really is this year and I think our defence is the best in the q this year look at the offense and mobility of out d If you gave me 100 words to describe our defense mobility would not be one of them. Look at the Quebec series as an example of getting smoked outside and not getting to pucks in the defensive zone. I think Leblanc is a top 5 defenseman in the league, I think Leveille is a top 10 but skating and mobility is an issue with him. Gosselin will be a steady top 4 defenseman as a 20 year old but after that mobilty is for sure an issue with Deschamps and MacIntyre. Offense for those two is also not a word to use with them, look at thier first 3 years. Beaudin can skate well but played limited games as a defenseman last year as most of them were up front. So I think we may have one of the best top pairing in the league but best defense in the league is a stretch. For what it is worth I do think Belanger has the potential to be a top goalie, will have to see how they play in our zone this year.

Beaudin was 16 he will be alot better this year with more playing time and MacIntyre will bounce back Gosselin is a gonna have a monster year offensively I can guarantee that and watch Leville top 50 points LeBlanc is top 5 no question yes sherbrook and St John have good defense also but I think we have way more offense comming from our d then st john

You have had a hard on for Sullivan since he came here. All but a few agree Belanger is a much better goalie.

That's your opinion and that's fine. If you look back at my previous posts to last years training camp, you will see that I was quite critical of Sullivans play. Through hard work he improved greatly over the year. I like to see all the kids improve and support them when they do. Someone else must have noticed his improved play, he won the goaltender of the month in January and the Most Improved player at the teams banquet. I have nothing against Belanger, I just think Sullivan is the better of the two.

Cause the team was playing a defensive system after the first half we had there was no other choice the type of player he is and the numbers he put up suggest he is on part for 45 plus points as a 20

Belanger will be capable of handling the goal if we play the way we can and should play in front of him. He won me over in the Rimouski game when he stopped 3 or 4 breakaways in the span of about 2 minutes.
If we play the way we did in the first half of last season then I don't think Carey Price would help us.
The way we started to play as a team in the second half of the season gives me optimism going into this season and I don't think Belanger will be an issue.
Let's not forget that we took a team to game 7 that ended up losing the Presidents cup in a game 7. We did that with last years team and I don't think you can argue that this years team won't be better.

Also worth not forgetting is the reason they were playing QC in the first place was blowing a 4 1 lead vs the leagues worst team

I think having Brassard as your goalie starting the season helped that too. That one game could have changed the out come of playing Quebec yes but your team with better goaltending should have been a mid pack team.
