And so it begins..... Now is this a deal that can take effect right away or do CB and AB wait until Dec 17 to make it official? We've all seen over the years how a flury of trades seem to take place in mere minutes when the window opens up . One wonders if we already have something in the works.... Good trade for both clubs although sure to see each team's fans have their take on it.

Reggie .. why is this a good deal for both clubs?
Clendenning is a career Titan, averaging a PPG, fights most any takers when necessary to spark a team or protect a teammate, was the team captain for 2 maybe 3 years and just scored the GWG here this weekend
Laberge is a kid who has bounced around a bit in his junior career, been left unprotected in the expansion draft, has a DUI under his belt and other than the first half of this year has never produced close to a PPG
CB wins big unless more is coming in this deal
If we had dealt Bureau for another 20 year old 3 years ago I doubt anyone would have considered that as a "good deal" for both clubs.. this one isn't either

Bois....I may have responded before analyzing the deal more closely.
As far as points go they are both averaging PPG and the face off stats are fairly even.
In terms of leadership and toughness in the trenches I'll give the nod to Clendenning easily. Looking at the Titan board afterwards it's clear they feel they got ripped on this one and it could rightfully turn out that way. Laberge's personal issues aside he is a player who has found his scoring niche this year, but perhaps PV thought the qualities that Jordan brings to the Eagles might be what was missing from Laberge and sent him away while he was still marketable.
The feeling between fans of both squads as I read it is that they are expecting further dealings to take place as part of this package. Have to wait until Dec 17.
So yeah, kind of jumped the gun a bit on assessing this one. Edge on paper right now goes to CB.

CA - You have to get up pretty early to get one over Bois. He's one of the more logical thinking members of the board and Sect. 8. Myself I tend to type first, think later....hence why chat boards came with a "modify" or "edit" button. ;D "The Thread" on the Tits board is up to 12 pages now.....Tit Nation in uproar.
