The thrill is gone in Eastern Prince Edward Island. Despite winning both Regular season and Playoff championships in 2014-15, the Souris Tunamen announced that last season will be their final in the Eastern Kings Sportsplex. The team has relocated to Nova Scotia to become the Bedford Beavers.Bedford fills the void left on the Nova Scotia mainland after the folding of the Sackville Flyers last summer. "We see an underserviced market, and a chance to make a new start." says Bedford GM Beaver Banker. "We had great success in Souris, but honestly, there's no one left on the roster from the championship team, so we made the tough decision to relocate". Bedford picks tenth overall and then seven more times in the upcoming Keeper Pool Draft, which is scheduled to begin on Monday morning.
