No doubt his value is lower now than it would have been this summer after he was drafted but he's still an NHl drafted goaltender who will certainly be playing in the Q next year now (the biggest factor of his terrible start IMO is the Rangers would be unlikely to sign him now).. his value should still be high IMO
Especially if packaged with a Morrison or Lessard
Theres no question that Gelinas has stolen the job from Antoine just as LaFleur did last year from Mior... the similarities are scary to me

Bang on Bois! Perhaps with a change of scenary (ala Mior in Gat.) Lafleur might regain his game. He's definitely worth getting something very good in return, but as Bois said might need to be part of a package to sweeten it up.
A straight up deal I think could get us a #3 D-man or a 2nd line forward.

Gelinas defenatley proven himself. LaFleur has yet to do so.

Gelinas defenatley proven himself. LaFleur has yet to do so. How has Lafleur not proven himself? This time last year everybody was singing praises about him...

I'm not hating Lafluer. I like Lafleur, but its time to get him started and see if he can get back to the #1 job.
