Have the Rocket finally found the player to complete the top line with Morrison and Walker?
18 yr old, Lucas McKinley.
With 18pts in 26 games this season, McKinley has been playing his best hockey since he donned a Rocket jersey.
A 10th rd draft pick of the Rocket at the 2006 QMJHL Entry Draft, McKinley, IMO, has looked the best so far up on the top line with Mo and Walks.
A few players have been given the chance to show their skill on the top line, but with little success.
Who know's how long McKinley will last up on the top line, but so far, I personally think that he has been a very nice fit.

Watching McKinley at training camp, the thing that stuck out for me was that he seemed to have been playing with more poise and confidence. I remember it being suggested at the time that perhaps McKinley was one of those players that would be on the bubble, good thing they decided to keep him.
What I like with McKinley is that he has played well with almost everyone he played with. When he was with Lachaine and Gallant they clicked well and McKinley was playing well, just like he is with Morrison and Walker. One reason why I like him playing well no matter who he played with is because if Morrison is traded, McKinley is going to have play with another center. It will be interesting to see how Walker would fare without Morrison (if a trade did happen), but I think McKinley would adjust well because he has been able to play good with other players.

I like McKinley, I like how he's sorta broken out offensively but I don't see him as a top line winger... he fits in ok up there because he never has the puck nor does he ever want it... if we are contending at some point tho Lucas should really be on the 3rd line not the first

Seriously McKinley was a fav of mine last year. Good on him to get some time on the top line. He may not get the puck all the time but I did notice Lucas causing turnovers for the opposition that Walker and Mo grabbed up.
Agree that he's a 3rd or 2nd line player, but love his moxy no question!
