In all earnestness, most (myself included) thought that Gelinas was only brought in to back up Mosher, while Lafleur was at rookie camp. Most of those who were of the consensus that he wasn't long for this team, probably based it on the fact that he was 18, a Q rookie who had dressed for a total of two games (and saw no action), and was unknown. Anyway, looks good on ya MA Gelinas......well deserved. |

are these not some of the fans that said Gelinas should not even be on team how quick they forget. I liked MAG from the first pre season game I saw him play, I think it was the Moose. Through the pre season he showed he had potential to share duty with Lafleur. I did not expect him to steal the starters job as I expected a lot more from Lafleur when he came back from the Rangers camp. Not surprised with the effort and results achieved by Gelinas. Congrats to him on the recognition. |
