They just stood there for about the first 30 seconds Morier was getting pretty impatient with Gallant then they basically hugged and tried to throw some inside punches but nothing real substantial landed either way. I expected a big ole fashion scrap when it started only 1 second into the game but I was left disappointed  Thanks Canuckle  .......guess I didn't miss anything. |

Ok now before I ask this question to save myself from possibly getting my head torn off, I want to state that I don't blame Chouinard, and Gelinas has been playing great from what I've seen. Does anybody think they Lafleur could get pissed off to the point where he demands a trade? If you think thats obsurd then just shoot me down. From what I have heard around the rink, Lafleur has already asked to be moved. I don't think it's because he's pissed, I think he just wants to go to a different team. |

Why wouldn't he? He's a 2nd rd NHL draft pick, who lost the #1 role to a "unknown" 18yr old. Im sure Antoine is a great kid, but he has played like shit this season.....and really can't blame no one but himself. For him to want to stay here and be a backup would not be the best thing for him.. No? |

Lafleur can go, I think Gelinas is ready for the #1 job. In all fairness to Lafleur though... he has sucked but A LOT of the sucking came from the dmen (and not just the young guys).

If Lafleur doesn't start getting playing time no doubt the Rangers will be stepping in to see what is going on. I think a move is the best for him right now.

just checking in while i make meat pies with mom...happy to see the boys are ahead....
the talk of lafleur reminds me of the talk last year with mior....lafleur stepped in and stole the top spot and we all thought he was a savior of sorts....seems to be the way it goes with our goalies....Lafleur has played poorly, and deserves to lose the top spot, and best thing is for him to go to a new team, i agree with that....best for him and at this point us....anyone have any speculation on where we may see him playing?
