Definetly going to need to look some dmen by the deadline! We can score some goals but an almost 50 shot night for Gelinas, that's not good, but luckily he's playing awesome for us right now and only allowed 1 shot!

yes, we were outshot by alot, but if you look at the dangerous shots count, 14-8 that tells you something about quality of shots. but gelinas is now officially the guy..

Fantastic to see the guys pick up the win tonight. Gelinas out standing again.
Gervais, Lessard and Southorn carried most of the play for the D. We really need to get some help on the blue line as the 17s develop.
Stealing this has to be a big boost to the teams confidence.

Hope Gelinas can carry his play over to next season.. something none of our goalies ever seem able to do
If not for Gelinas great play and Geoff Walker we'd have been out shot 49-12... ouch
as for Lafleur he never seemed like he wanted to be here... trade him to a Telus team and hopefully he finds his groove again... I doubt the Rangers are gonna sign him anyways

Great win by the Rocket. Is this 6 wins in a row now? Under 2,000 fans at this game. So our situation can't be that bad. I am sure the fan base will increase the way the Rocket are playing. I say trade Lefleur and get a solid 1st pairing defense man to go with Main. If Lefleur keeps playing like he has this year he will be playing University hockey. I think if he gets traded and gets in the grove he will end up playing some level of pro hockey.

Wow ,big win over a very good team. I have to say I thought that this would be a tough game to steel a pt let alone win the game. Great game and as Cory says looks like the team is really bying into Guys system. Huge effort by all .Gelinas was unreal.Walker really impressed me with his play both ends of the ice. Brad Gallant has been a real solid addition with his toughness and his offense has been a big bonus.Doyle worked hard both ends of the rink. Just mentioned a few but they all played well.

... Is this 6 wins in a row now? ... You're forgetting about "Black Sunday" in St. John. Its 4 in a row, 6 of 7 and 7 of 10. Some might say they are playing over their heads, but I think they are finally reaching their potential. There is still a long way to go to tighten up defensively and cut down the number of shots.

Even though the Rocket was outshot by a wide margin, they still played very well, especially in their own zone, more so in the first two periods, of course.
The third period, well, Baie-Comeau is very skilled offensively, aren't they?
Great road win - hard to believe this was the same team that looked so awful in losing to this same BC team three weeks ago, in an outing that left a lot of Rocket fans discouraged.
Chouinard has been here 7 weeks now, and the changes are starting to show - although Latal's game has deteriorated, players like Lachaine, Main, Lessard, Gervais, MacKinley and Gallant, and, of course, GĂ©linas have really picked it up.
Not out of the question for the Rocket to finish 4th in the division this year - ahead of Moncton, AB, CB, and St John's.
No reason for crowds not to pick up beginning Dec 28th.
The two BC announcers last night went on and on about the two QMJHL Gallants being 'cousins' from Summerside.
Them's brothers, ain't they?
That's what their father (Pinky) told me, anyway.

It was funny the other night on Compass when the 'experts', Boomer and Fiddler, were going on about the Rocket having won '8 out of 10' - obviously parroting what they read in The Guardian, whereas we all knew it was 7 out of 10, not 8. But they don't follow the team at all anyway, so how would they know, and heaven forbid they check their facts. None of this prevents them from commenting on the team in public, though. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

Best line of the night on the Netcast was Corey saying that after the Quebec game that it's "hot dogs and poutine time" as the players can relax from the daily routine of games, practice, eating right.
