League Admin rules provide that nineteen and twenty year-old players cannot be nominated to any rookie title. I think MAG turns 19 in February 2008, if so he is not eligible for rookie awards.

he's an 18 year old .. he is eligible.. was an oversight but not a huge deal

I'm OK with the decision....either of those two would have been fine.

I like Kana's style of hockey...he's fun to watch, and a favorite of a lot of fans.
