Pierre-Luc Dubois, LW – Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (QMJHL): Scouts are making must-see appointments for Dubois’ games lately and he has not disappointed. A high-end two way player with an edge, Dubois hung five points on a very good Val-d’Or team the other night and is now up to fourth in league scoring with 87 points in 57 games.

4 games left, 8 points away from the 100 mark. I see him listed at 91 points. He just needs 1 of the remaining games to be one of these 8-2 wins here he chips in 5 points then a couple more multi point games lol He won't be available at 9 . Agreed. At this rate he's going to go in the 4-5-6-7 range. There's still lots of time for the Habs to fall further but there's also time for them to win a few games

What a treat to watch this kid develop. He is undoubtedly one of the best prospects to come through here. He comes to gthe rink and works hard everyday, we never here anything negative about him and he doesn't look to be in the spotlight, he just approaches the game in a very workmanlike manner and gets better everyday.

Best forward ever and maybe second to only Fleury in terms of best player ? Thoughts ?

Absolutely agree, this kid can do it all.I particularly watched him in the faceoff circle yesterday and he was just awesome, just like the other centerman wasn't even there, not even close.I think Dubois is headed for a nice career in the NHL. Hope whoever drafts him give him the chance to develop properly, sometimes these kids are rushed along and it does not work out for them. We need only to look at James Sheppard, a kid who Dubois is often compared to, and see what happened to him with his development in Minnesota.

Just my unbiased opinion but Dubois is a much better "potential pro player" than Sheppard was....., accident aside
