Always was a fan of Sebastian Roger. ..
Dislike James Sandford.....for reasons..
Also liked, Karsums, Pineault (what a shot! !!)...and Zakharov.

No love for the Saulniers?

No love for the Saulniers? Considering the context of the question - no. If you could add any single player to our team right now to make us a stronger contender, I think it has to be an impact goalie - take your pick as to which one. We already have plenty of offense ... And while a high end d-man from the past would help (Gormley, Yandle, Savard) I think it would be all for naught without better goaltending than we have received since the trade deadline.

It's an interesting question - no doubt in my mind you'd need to take one of our previous goaltenders. I think I'd take Riopel or possibly Tordjman - these are the only two guys who played on our Presidents Cup winning teams, so I'd want that experience. However, Crawford has also won 2 Stanley Cups, one being the #1 guy.

I believe Crawford has won 3 Stanley Cups, 2 as the starter.

I believe Crawford has won 3 Stanley Cups, 2 as the starter. Nope. You're both partially wrong. Crawford won 2 Stanley Cups, both as starter. He wasn't there for the first of the 3 cups Chicago won in recent years.

No love for the Saulniers? They were co-captains for the biggest playoff flop in franchise history. I suppose you could make a case for 1999 being right up there as well, but anyway...zero reason for there to be any love for them in this thread.

Wildcats could have very well won the Memorial Cup in 2000 if not for him. Of course that's quite possibly the reason why you're choosing him.

He carried an average team to the cup final in 2004...2.15 GAA and .940 save %.

Some of those goals from the blueline against Rimouski were just mind blowing. Paiement's coaching was also a big issue, he would ride the top line guys like crazy. I think one game Girard-Beauchemin played like 5 straight minutes...despite the fact that it was a very deep team, I think Yetman was on the 4th line and Patrice Theriault was a healthy scratch most nights.

For me if we had a Roman Will in nets this team would be considered a contender, unfortunately we don't
