2015 2 - Mika Cyr (Somehow survived the yard sale) 3 - Michael O'Leary (No show - Gone at 17) 3 - Ethan Crossman (Gone at 16) 3 - Alex Lavoie (We'll see) 4 - Jonathan Aspirot (We'll see) 5 - Jeremy McKenna (We'll see) 2014 2 - Noah Corson (25GP - 2Pts) 3 - Liam Murphy (So that's what potential looks like) 4 - Luke McInnis (Thanks for showing up) 5 - Marcus Tesink (39GP) 5 - Sebastian Dupre (At least we traded him for a guy that was older and with worse numbers) 2013 3 - Adam Holwell (Hey, we got a keeper!) 5 - Alex Jacob (34GP - Gone at 18) 2012 2 - Gabriel Gagne (Gone at 16 - but hey Danault put us over the top!) 3 - Tanner McCabe (3GP - Gone at 18) 3 - Josh Pugsley (64GP - 15Pts - Might aswell put him on the all star team next to Corson) 4 - Stephen Johnson (Thank god, this was getting ugly) 4 - Liam Hynes (28GP - Gone at 18) 5 - Alex Mann (2GP) 5 - Zach Beaudoin (7GP - Gone at 18) 2011 1 - Brandon Shea (HAHAHAHA) 2 - Kris Hodge (20GP - Gone at 17) 3 - Maxim Pitre (Abducted by aliens?) 3 - Alex Centis-Jorge (4GP - Gone at 17) 4 - Julien Beliveau (7GP) 4 - Jordan Labbe (5GP) 5 - Jack Flinn (Gone at 17 without playing a game, made himself a decent career in OHL) I don't want to ruin anyone's day but that's pretty fuckin' sad right there. In fairness Jack Flinn was traded so the Cats could select Barbashev and I don't think any of us will argue with that. Also, in fairness... Nope that's it. Just awful. Absolutely awful. It's actually impressive in a way the Cats have been as good as they are this season considering that 2012 class should be your core 19 year olds this season. Instead it's a dumpster fire. Like Billy mentioned just imagine if you added those good free agent finds on top of even just above average drafting. You can't pin those drafts on the Shannon regime, but with the way he's been throwing away and wasting draft picks it doesn't appear to be getting any better. So you're not a fan of trading two 2nd rounders for a"#1 goalie"?

I noticed an article about Brendan Bornstein on the T&T website today. Completely forgot about him. He is with the team until the Fred page cup and he seems likely to be on the team next year with the losses the cats have on the back end.
Assuming they keep Malatesta as a 20 (although far from a lock):
Holwell-Malatesta Mooney-Tesink Bornstein- Lavoie Aspirot or draft pick/free agent.
One thing I didn't know was that apparently he and the Klima brothers are essentially step brothers.

If they are serious about being top 8 like Shannon said, I'm assuming they add at least one top 4 d-man, maybe two with 3 top 4 guys leaving after this year(Sweeney Kosack and Donaghey). Ideally Donaghey is back as an OA.

So there goes 2015-16...should be a lot of turnover next year with 3 OA and 9 19 year olds. I expect almost half of the 23 player roster to be different.
This year's roster was 3-8-9-3 in terms of 17-18-19-20
Guys that will probably be back...
17-Murphy Mooney Tesink 18-Kilma Klima Holwell Askew Bower
Guys that may not be back...
Cormier Pickard(might move one of them as they probably won't want two 19 year old bangers in the bottom 6).
Blade Man...likely will have a younger back up goalie(if Bouchard returns) or more experienced vet(if he doesn't).
Maybe Kelly Klima, he's been in the doghouse a lot the past month and will be 19...but I expect him back.
In terms of OA's...Garland is gone, so is Richard...Karabacek has pro options plus takes up two spots, same for Weiderer. Donaghey is signed. Bouchard might play pro(unlikely). There is also Smith Malatesta and MacEwen. Plus a trade is also possible...
Johnson Kosack and Sweeney will be big losses as OA's.

Guys that can penciled in: Mika Cyr, Alex Lavoie, Sam Meisenheimer and Grayden Gottschalk. It would be nice to get one of the goalies drafted in 2015 to sign (Grant/Waite/Petruzelli). Cyr - Askew - Bower Murphy - Klima - Klima Pickard - Meisenheimer - MacEwen This is how I see the top 9. Fourth line would have Gottschalk on the right side. LW/C can be filled with draft picks/free agents. In a perfect world, it's Jeremy McKenna, Adam Dawe and Gottschalk. Defensively, Malatesta - Holwell Mooney - Tesink Lavoie - Bornstein

I suspect Irving has given the front office his plans for the coming season......... It has nothing to do with Irving, they have the oldest team in the Q and 12 guys that are 19 or 20...only 3 can play next year, so that's 9 players guaranteed to be moving on somewhere...

I notice that McKenna put up some pretty good numbers in Austria this season. Not sure what kind of competition he was up against though.
As for Lavoie I thought he looked really good in the playoff games I saw before he got hurt. I would say he's a prime candidate to be on the team next season.

Nine guys moving on...... well that's exactly my point. Irving will be giving instructions to his front office on what to do, especially now after the loss on Sunday. Irving is all over this team like a smelly practice jersey, just look at him behind the bench in his seat bending over, probably telling Rumble tis time for a line change or better still double shift Garland. Sunday's game he almost toppled over from his seat yelling at the Officials...........

Lavoie's main issue is he's had back issues a couple of times this year.

Yeah, I think Lavoie and Cyr are two rookies who are essentially guaranteed a spot
