Nov 14: Updated. Both Bedford and Plaster Rock add top defensemen, though the Beavers see the opportunity only because Otto Somppi is put on the IR while he recovers from injury.

November 28 - Updated. There was a significant error on Tay Creek's spreadsheet tab that caused all points from Brisebois and Bishop to be excluded. He jumps from 15th to 10th as a result.

What had been a three horse race is now looking like a two horse race. Plaster Rock and Fredericton are separated by less than two points, while Bedford has slipped to a dozen points out of second on the merits of playing without a goalie since the trade deadline...
Each team has only five or six games left, so we shaping up for what will be the closest race in pool history.
On the other end, Lameque, South Shore and Westmount are all within 8 points. There are two playoff spots to be had between the three of them.

What was a close race has become what might be a forgone conclusion as Fredericton has a 9.5 point lead on the Storm. Bedford had a surge last week (including 7 point games from both Sprong and Beauchemin), but it's too little too late, as they've been trying to play with 7 players since basically the trade deadline.
Season ends this weekend. I will have the standings and the playoff groupings out early next week.

The season has ended!
Congrats to viper and the Fredericton Vipers who held on to win the Franchise's first title, and keep the trophy in New Brunswick for the fourth of five years. Bedford didn't quite have enough to get there - though the 8.2 points deducted in December as a penalty for the mistake on Melancon's age would have been more than enough!
Plaster Rock's Vitalii Abramov was the league's top scorer with 120.2 points. Top Goalie was Fredericton's Callum Booth with 60.1 points.
Playoffs start this weekend. I'll open a separate thread
