The Canada/Russia series returns to Moncton November 16th. It was also in Moncton in 2005. Team QMJHL won 6-4.
Charlottetown is the other QMJHL city.

Seems kind of strange that we would bother to bid on something like this in the last year of an old rink ... would have thought they would prefer to wait and get their turn hosting special events once they move to the new building.

Probably just trying to offer something the fans in what will likely be another down season. |

Just one game, so kinda doubt it will be much of an incentive. If such is the case(mediocre team) for 2017-18 be interesting to see if the STH base will decrease

Another incentive to wait a year to place a bid is that by then we might have someone who deserves to be in the game.
