How did journalists fall for this? Did they really think the Sags would hold a press conference for a trade when trades can't even be announced yet? Their press conference had nothing to do with a trade or the draft. Everyone move on.

I agree with bois I think this trade probably involves Sherbrooke, considering Sherbrooke will look to actually do something this year having a pretty decent roster. If it were Bathurst my guess is it would be MacIsaac involved for sure as we need defense. I doubt it would be Rubtsov as I doubt he's back in the Q next year but he would be a great addition for our team if he would be available and would report.
