McKenna was the biggest pleasant surprise of the night for me. Liked his size, speed and work ethic. Definitely has a bit of skill too.
Was it really necessary for Dicaire to be involved? They have Grandmaison, Lewis, Mason, Pelletier and Toner that are all guys not holding out for anything as far as I know.

I liked McKenna's game but he was a 1999 guy playing against 2000 and 2001's so you have to take it in context. I see him as a guy who could replace a Dicaire or Taillon on the bottom 4-5 forwards and play a grinding role and chip in the odd goal. I think Dicaire playing is one or both of these reasons... 1-his spot is not guaranteed, far from it, and he is a CEGEP player 2-he is on the trading block and they want to showcase him a bit

Toner got leveled by Josh Nicholson during Thursday night's scrimmage. He had to be helped off the ice. I'm not a doctor, but definitely looked concussed. I don't think we'll see him for the rest of camp.

Of the 2017 draft picks, Bellamy Pelletier and Gaudreau have looked good...the rest have been pretty invisible.

Of the 2017 draft picks, Bellamy Pelletier and Gaudreau have looked good...the rest have been pretty invisible. Boulianne has skill and has shown some potential at times. Decision making isn't always the best though. Very inconsistent. Another season of midget for him. Same with Vanier - the potential is there, but there's some work to do. As for the rest I don't disagree with you. Jacob Stewart has been very underwhelming so far. Rumsey looks quite average and definitely needs a season at a higher level than he played last season. For some reason I assumed he was a 10th round pick or thereabouts...surprised to see he was a 5th when I went back to look at the draft picks. I was disappointed with Mason tonight. Coming in as a 17 YO he didn't show very much at all. Seemed to be trying to do too much. McCluskey looked ok, but seems like a guy that will be a very good Junior A defenceman. Which is understandable as a 12th round selection. Paradis was decent last night. Him and Gaudreault both looked sharper than MacDonald. To be fair though these are all very small sample sizes.

McCluskey I like his mobility and decision making, probably a guy that could use a year Jr.A.

I don't know much about Kuzmin but he seems to really be pushing for a spot on your team, he's also huge.

Gandmaison is dressed tonight. Other two are not. Thanks Dman....what about last night? Grandmaison was not dressed on Friday night but is dressed today. I cannot recall the others. I am no scout by any means, so keep that in mind... Should be a lot of easy cuts to make tonight. Bellamy is impressive...nice shot...needs to fill out a bit. Pelletier didn't to much on Friday but did well last night with the hat trick. Goudreault played well in nets. McKenna has good size, and didn't look too bad. Senken looked good, as he should at 18 amongst rookies, but is it good enough to win a spot over a promising rookie? Same with Dicaire, for that matter. Gandmaison was okay but need to see him more for a better assessment. Kuzmin has good size and seemed to play well. Blackmore didn't look too bad but is 18 so should look good. Hudson also looked good. Paradis didn't look too bad in limited action in the second half of the game. A lot of others average or below average. I'm sure I missed others that did well. Again, as a disclaimer, I am not a scout nor do I pretend to me.

Is anybody else having trouble watching the game on Rogers TV? It's supposed to be on but the channel is not coming in...
