Due to circumstances outside the pool, J4M13 has decided to take a leave of absence and will be stepping away from the day-to-day duties of running the Tay Creek Regals. I want to thank J4M13 for his ongoing contributions to the pool, and invite him to return when life allows it.
scotiahockey will be taking over the Regals. For now the team name remains the same, but if they'd like to rename/relocate, we can expore that after the draft. I want to welcome scotiahockey on board, and wish him luck with the rebuild he has ahead of him.

Very excited for the opportunity! Also maybe my eyes are just failing me but why can I not seem to find the league rules thread anymore?

Updating it is on my to-do list

Nevermind. I updated on my lunch break.
Everyone besides scotiahockey, take a look and see if there are any changes that haven't been captured.

I have a rules question specific to Tay Creek actually. It seems Tay Creek has protected 5 20 year olds which would make this an ineligible team - Which is fine since the rule states it is legal as long as the roster is fixed before season starts. My question is does that mean Tay Creek is not allowed to draft any more special designation slots in the draft until that is fixed? I've posed this question about goalies before (drafting one when you've already protected one) and that is not allowed. Would this be a similar situation or is it different for skaters? Thanks.

No. They can draft ten 20 year old Euros in theory, but will need to be legal prior to opening day. The only restriction is you can only own one goaltender.
