This to me will define where the team is, at least until trades are made.

I think the team will be 200% better defensively, adding Welsh and Desjardins plus Weiringa to LeCoultre who is a year older. Grametbauer gives you a legit top 10 Q goalie. plus the older forwards brought in are mostly guys that have size and play a 2 way game(MacRae Petaki Dunda).

The big concern is, how much can they improve on offense? MacDonald will definitely help, Pelletier also, plus Cyr MacKenna and Camannelli are a year older. Welsh will provide a boost from the blueline and I think Bellamy can also a bit.

Getting Miromanov and/or Khovanov would help change the dynamic a bit, both would be ideal.

Looks like a team that will need to win more 3-2 than 5-4 this year...

A top line of McDonald khovanov and Dunda would be pretty good as long as dunda doesn’t just slow them.

Dunda seems like a pretty decent skater, just more of a grinder than a creative player.

His net presence and size would be good with a playmaker and sniper tho
