Tay Creek has 25 points. Dalhousie has a 25 point LEAD on the field. The next three teams are within 1.2 points of each other.
Plaster Rock had the best week, putting up 31 points and jumping from 9th to 4th.

Port aux Basques has the best score of the week, scoring 30.4 points, a minor penalty better than league leading Dahousie's even 30.
Westmount wiggled their way up the standings 4 spots with a strong week, while Bedford's 20 points were enough to seem them move 4 as well, but in the other direction. With less than five points separating 2nd through 8th places (and 9 and 10 still not far back), I expect we'll see lots of teams moving up and down the standings over the next few weeks.

The very top remains the same, as do the bottom five, but slots 2 through 11 all changed hands this week, with Ingonsih getting a 4 position jump, and Lameque sliding 6 from 2 to 8. Westmount had the best week points-wise, and took over the second spot vacated by the Cod Eaters.

Plaster Rock is the top tem this week with 33.8 points, closing the gap on first place Dalhousie.
Stat corrections have been applied to Hunter River and Tay Creek to account for points for players (Baribeau, D'Astous and Gallant for HR, Lalonde for TC) who weren't being captured properly

Plaster Rock is now within striking distance of first place after another great week (30.6 points). Still tight just behind that as less than 20 points separate third place Bedford from 10th place South Shore.
The last two league champs Allardville and Fredericton find themselves at the bottom, already looking unlikely to catch the playoff pack.

Bedford's 30.7 points was tops this week. They make up just under two points on the league leading Moosehead Rangers, who put up a 28.8
South Shore moves two places from 10 to 8. Allardville (8.8) and Fredericton (9.0) continue the race to the bottom as the only teams with weekly point totals under 10.

South Shore continues to climb the table, with a league best 29.3 points this week. The Sharks now find themselves in sixth, with Westmount well thin reach.
After two weeks on the Dishonour roll, Allardville puts up a respectable score and opens the gap on Fredericton, whose 4.8 points is decidedly not respectable...

Dalhousie extends their lead with a league best 35.7 points, but this week 8 teams put up more than 30 points (Bedford, Hunter River, Riverview, Salisbury, Ingonish, Port aux Bassques, and Lameque). South Shore originally tallied with just 3.3 points on the week, which I knew couldn't be right. The issue was that the system I built can handle two players with the same name, unless they play on the same team. Rimouski dressed a forward by the name of Dominic Cormier, the same name as their alternate captain defenseman. I fixed it manually, but countryboy, if you see something that looks off in future weeks, let me know.

After a week where 8 teams put up 30 points, this week no one did. Hunter River puts up the best score of the week at 27.7 to just over Miramichi into the final playoff spot. Bedford slides into the #2 spot, where they ended up living most of last season.
Allardville is now within 3-ish points of third-last, gaining a few more points on Tay Creek this week. Fredericton's 11.6 points were a league worst.

Salisbury has a big week (34.0 points) and moves up two spots to number five. Lots of shuffling again between spots 5-9 as scores are tight. Another tight race is for that final playoff spot, as Cheticamp (11th) and Hunter River (12th) hold a slim lead on Miramichi.

Team of the week was Bedford, putting up 28.8 and picking up two points on Dalhousie.
Fredericton got a big bump this week as I realized Cedric Desruisseaux's points were not being added into their total. They're still in last place, but now less than ten behind Allardville.
This will probably be the last scoring update until the new year. Merry Christmas everyone!

Bedford is the team of the holidays as the Beavers put up 41.6 points. The omission of Samuel Harvey and Otto Somppi from their respective World Junior Teams has proven to be a plus for the second place squad as they try to close the gap on Dalhousie, who jumped on Jake Ryczek in an effort to bolster their blue line.
Trades and free agents adds can continue to be made for another month. The deadline for all roster moves is 9PM on February 5.

Big weeks from mid-packers as our top team this week is 10th place Tay Creek (31.5 points), while 7th place Lameque (27.3), 12th place Cheticamp (27.3) and 8th Place Port aux Basques (27.2) also all have strong weeks.

I don't keep those stats, but Dalhousie's 53.3 points this week might be the largest 7-day total in league history. Second place Bedford put up 39.9 of their own, but fall well back of the leaders as we enter the final third of the season.
