First time seeing your Team , I like your overall size . That Bellamy Kid is pretty reckless with his stick though . Like our Team , you guys gave up way too many chances .....better times ahead for sure .

You made comment on his pace for 30 goals and I made comment on his plus/minus stats. I'm not knocking the kid and I do hope he hits the 30 plus goal mark but the plus/minus stat is indicative of your overall team's performance to which all players have accountability for. The cats play a run and gun offence which Macdonald will thrive in but it will be short lived come playoff time when you run into a defensive minded shut down team. The Cats currently sit in 1st place with 20 point but have 57 goals for and 58 goals against. There are four teams chomping at your heals with 19 points. Let's see where you sit in a couple weeks time and how much the +/- stat changes for everybody on the team. The Cats are closer to mid pack than the top of the standings, they had a soft schedule to start and now it's going back to the norm. Agreed. First place is not sustainable and I bet many here agree, defense being one issue and as per usual - goaltending although that issue little less clear(injuries). Overall inside top 10 for sure unless arse falls right out of her.

Plus/Minus is a horrible stat. Comment on his actual play if you wish. Hes certainly not perfect and has made plenty of nental mistakes so far but hes still only 17. He was not aquired for his defensive abilities so not really sure what the point of your post even is. You made comment on his pace for 30 goals and I made comment on his plus/minus stats. Most have been simply pleasently surprised after watching the worst team we've ever watched in the 2nd half last season. My post was simply talking about not overreactimg about 1-2 game results in junior hockey.
