Down 2-0, Dylan Seitz and Beaudin are shoving a little... linesman grabs Seitz, Seitz falls to the ice.
TSN turning point... Beaudin acts like clown, laughing, tapping his stick.
Karma: Beaudin then trips over his own feet (bad ice actually) twice and Seitz scores 3 goals.
Why I'm not the Coach: I would have sent Seitz out to fight him at the next opportunity, Seitz would have got a game misconduct and never scored a goal.

I mean he did that when grise was trying to goat Pelletier in to a fight which led to victos coach banging on the glass between the benches lol

Five guys in the top 20 of league scoring this morning at the 1st quarter point of the season. Who would have predicted that ?

Five guys in the top 20 of league scoring this morning at the 1st quarter point of the season. Who would have predicted that ? I called worst to first in the prediction thread ... never thought it would happen. Have to give the devil his due - I have been critical of Shannon in the past, but he has managed to re-tool the team much quicker than I could have imagined.

I was wondering the same thing, if all of these trades and draft picks would be been all Shannon's, I am sure he would have been toast a while ago, I am certain Irving was behind these moves.

Pelletiers passing ability in tight spaces continues to amaze me. Rumble continues to reward his play with extra ice time which hopefully inspires the other players to keep working as hes clearly earned it.
Still shocked that the Cats were able to get a player the quality of Seitz as a free agent. Seems to really enjoy playing here and is clearly a team player with the way Rumble put him out there yesterday. Should be a fan favourite the next few years.

I was impressed with MacDonald's play these last two games including last night other than the penalty he took in the 1st period. He is now skating better and passing better than he did at the start of the year. Was he hurt before?

Good bounce back weekend after the last couple games prior with yesterday being an especially entertaining game.
Auger looks like a good pick up from what I saw. Moves the puck pretty well and can skate himself out of trouble. At worst he boosts the depth on defence.

Certainly can't argue with the free agents they've brought in and the draft picks used on Cyr and McKenna are looking pretty good right now. You could say the picks used on Aspirot and Hudson look fairly wise as well. I'm interested to see how much of a step Capannelli takes when he gets back and has some game action under his belt. The trades Shannon made last year all seem to have worked out so far. I was admittedly unsure about the Klima trade at first, but Tessier is the best player in that deal and they used the Rouyn 1st rounder to pick Bellamy. Hard for anyone to really criticize the Askew deal as well looking back at it. He can barely get into the line-up while Welsh is one of the top defencemen in the league and could potentially be moved for a nice return. The Cats also still have Shawi's 2nd rounder this year which should be fairly high. On top of that they were able to acquire Anderson MacDonald thanks to other assets that were picked up last year during the trade period. So far, so good...just have to hope Irving doesn't order them to go for it this year.

If he develops and lives up to some of the promise expected when we got him our team could be even deeper in scoring

Hopefully he takes a big enough leap forward and is the set up guy that really gets macdonald going

I'd rather have a team that can compete for the Memorial Cup in 2 years.
