Wildcats fined $2500 for the after game practice For what? I didn't realize that was a rule.. And $2500 at that. That's a pretty large fine compared to others.

He seems like he would use old school tactics with his team. He might lose his dressing room pretty quick that way. He put the team through a bag skate two years ago and it didn’t seem to lose the room Don't you think that, given there was a fine sanction, there was a formal complaint filed? Where would a complaint come from? Certainly not from the Titan.

Well certainly appears against league rules aka sanction/fine. If it is deemed restitution against a poor performance in a preceding game guess the league takes a dim view of this, perhaps seen a undue ridicule or possible injury to tired players or whatever. Good on the league to step in, as uncalled for in my view, and perhaps there may be resentment against this forced after game drills skate by some of the players who knows. Not a way to carry forward.

You lose the team when you constantly abuse the players. If you are constantly screaming and putting players down you may get an initial pickup but eventually you just become background noise and the players tune you out. If you demand effort and don't get it from the team then there should be consequences or a kick in the pants to get their attention.
Good coaches don't penalize mistakes they do penalize a lack of effort...good players and players with character will respond to the challenge...
Accountability is important.

Accountability is important. Good players do not need that kind of language to understand and respond to a challenge.... This is 1980s method at its best.

Irving did not go bankrup yet . The cats will survive Why would Rumble agree with Shannon to take the team back on the ice after the game when they got out played ,out hit and out hustled by a better team. The Cats coaching have had them playing over their heads, they have been playing with their heart and determination. Does Shannon expect them to be at the top by the end of the season? Robert made that call.

You are funny...so in your opinion accountability and effort are not part of team sports? Go back to talking about kids in street clothes and making up rumours you are clearly over your head when it comes to coaching. Tell me how you would deal with a lack of effort or what you would do to get the teams attention? This should be classic...I will wait for your response.

Sounds as though you got your PHD in Millennial Psychology through correspondence. They should just have scheduled an early morning "conditioning" practice to help stretch those tired muscles from the night before, much more effective then a bag skate and cheaper.

I think 6 am would get the message across just as nicely as right after the game LOL ...

Bet the Wildcat players themselves got a chuckle when the QMJHL showed its displeasure against this bag skate and followed it up with a $2500.00 fine that Irving has to pay. Thats the price roughly of six senior STH seats.
