So what's Pelletier's trade value? Would we be able to get a couple of firsts if we traded him now? Would we get more if we traded him at the draft? If we trade him at the draft we might be able to get a top 5 pick. If we trade him now, no one will want to trade a potential top 5 pick because a potential top 5 pick has a chance at being 1st overall(see Rimouski 2017). I think you wait until the draft and see if you can sneak into the 3rd to 5th overall range. You should be able to turn that pick into a few second rounders with a 5th thrown into draft someone from Florida.


I wonder what we would have to add to the deal to get Barron from Halifax. Solid young D. He could help replace Bellamy.

I offered two 3rd round picks last night!

Just think, you could get two 5th rounders for EACH of those 3rds. That's FOUR impact Americans. THAT'S how you build a Memorial Cup Champion!

I don't think Pelletier has any chance of getting moved, he's a future NHL 1st rounder probably, and IF for some odd reason he would get moved this year you're probably looking at the same value of the Veleno trade in Drummondville...
