A little with the game-day thread.
0-0 after the 1st period.
Sylvestre with just an idiotic elbow. Blatant. Dangerous. The kind of hit you want out of hockey.
That's definitely a suspension.

If you were booing the Armada player when he got up, get your act together. This is Moncton. Be better. FFS.

By all accounts it seems as though Sylvestre has been a bit of a goon? Or at the very least reckless since he’s been acquired by the Cats.

That was freighing brutal. We held the Armada to 20 shots on net. They weren’t even in the game. Mailed them the points in the third. Flat out gave the game away after totally controlling it.
Just terrible

Just terrible That's what happens when you only have 4 D last 5 mins of 1st, 2nd and 3rd period. They ran out of gas!

Very dangerous for sure, the League may add a few games to the current game suspension if so definitely warranted. As for the game itself B-B certainly didn’t look like a first place team in the Q and third place in the CHL rankings, Wildcats played them well until latter part of the third. Seems this year at times it’s 4 out of 4 pts, then followed by 0 out of 4 pts.

So, the Wildcats are already down to 5 D in the 1st period and Sylvestre take a 5 min penalty and and automatic toss out for an elbow to the head and now they are down to 4 D for 2+ periods against the top team in the league. What was he thinking?

I'd imagine Sylvestre likely gets a 3-4 game suspension for the hit.

What was he thinking? Another great trade by Shannon. Sylvestre played 244 games in Shawinigan with 1 suspension for 1 game for checking from behind in 2016-2017 season. Sylvestre has played 18 games with Moncton with 2 suspensions, 1 for checking to the head on Zadina and Elbow on Armada player Katerinakis (how many games is yet to be announced) Weird!

Five games for Sylvestre. Looking at the video now up on the Q site, he's lucky that the Armada player did not get injured as a result of the elbow.

Five game suspension warranted for sure, some may feel the sentence should have been harsher and perhaps surprised it wasn’t. Looking at the video, it was certainly a very dangerous elbow hit to the head that could have resulted in serious injury. But whatever, the League call it out and good on them I say.
