Scott owns the team, three posters on the Dogs board have been telling Titan fans that our team is being sold, but they got screwed last year . If Scott sells the team team rest assured that it will be to a group of owners that will commit to staying in the city. Contrary to what a few “ Dogs”fans say, three years and the Mem Cup should be back in Saint John, and the Year after in just very well might be back in Titanland, the smallest fan base in the CHL., and this could happen without a carte blanche. Not Jack Bauer , good job,you do sound like the real Jack Bauer Touche chsb.... I wasn't suggesting for a moment that the Seadogs were being sold, or if they were they were going to be moved, or whatever leaps you are making. Just reporting that Saint Johns favourite son was in town taking in the game last night, sitting with someone I was told was a minority owner & that that would get some tongues a wagging as he's been mentioned as having interest if an ownership change was in the wind. I don't pretend to know anything about any of the inner workings of the league, teams, owners, or fans (unlike JB or chsb) & now apparently cautious. I'll sit out like I normally do & get educated by the smart guys that know it all. You 3 can discuss among yourselves...

I heard this rumour as well. Neither myself nor the person I heard it from had any idea if there was any truth to it or not. Perhaps they were/are simply looking to buy into the ownership group if one or more of the minority owners were looking to sell some or all of their share, or maybe there is nothing to this at all. I can't say I'd be terribly disappointed if those 2 did become owners. So I'm sure that Gerrard Gallant sitting beside a minority owner in the crowd last night during the NHL All Star break, virtually as far away from Las Vegas as you can be will absolutely kill any further rumours.... Heard he was at the Wildcats game yesterday as well...must not be buying that team either.
