Any word on if Cyr can make it back? He is ahead of schedule. There’s a very good chance he plays in the 2nd round.

I understand the need for the Aitken Centre if game 5 has to be friday, so you won't see any complaints from me there. This won't be an issue after this season and no one even figured we'd win a game against Rimouski
but not sure why this wouldn't work to avoid a friday game.
Game 1- Fri Game 2 - Sat Game 3 - Mon Game 4 - Weds Game 5 Thurs
Magic still get there game in Tuesday
The only thing I can think is they needed the ice surface Thursday evening to prepare for speed sport. I remember a 6pm start time a few years back because of this same problem. Either way, this scheduling issue has nothing to do with the Magic, and everything to do with speed sport.

Blainville had their Game 2 scheduled for Sunday before any other series was finished. May have something to do with Montreal playing their last regular season game against Toronto.

I'm surprised they didn't try and do 2-2-1-1-1 with game 6 in Moncton Monday the 16th...maybe the league would not let them.

Game 1 and 2 will be shown nationally on Sportsnet. That's great. Much easier on the eyes then poor quality rink feeds.
