There is a decent chance Moncton win Friday. BBA are battered with injuries to key players and have had very average goaltending so far. The key will be if a guy like MacDonald can improve his play.... I think we have got all we can expect to get against BBA ... I'll be happy to be wrong. Macdonald is what he is ... a shooter. If he can't create time and space then he won't get many shots. He isn't a guy that can lug the puck up the ice and dipsy-doodle through the D. But at 18 and 19 and with talented linemates he could be a guy to score 40+ goals. He also is not a great guy on the defensive side of the puck, but that can be taught. Unfortunately, it appears that very little was taught to anybody this year ... and that falls on the Coach. |

Barre-Boulet & Bisson Didn't see the Barre-Boulet incident. Bisson was hit hard against the boards by Hudson resulting in a 5 min major & likely a suspension. Looked scary as he wasn't moving much but he was able to skate off on his own. Bisson has no luck in the playoffs, I remember him being taken off on a stretcher after getting nearly put through the boards by Boko Imama a couple years ago when he was with the Eagles. |
