I also heard that the Home Show, Speed Sport East, the Boat Show, etc. will all be moving to the new Centre and keep the same dates.

Country? Boo. There should be much more than country coming if you are looking to come for a concert I think people are going to be surprised by the quality of acts you will see coming through the first few years of the centre. Some of those extra costs & parking/inconvenience issues might be forgotten about pretty quickly when can't miss acts are rolling through town and people find a way to make it work. Getting fans out for a Tuesday night game against Valdor in January will likely still be the same struggle it always has been though.

Yeah you guys should become as big of an attraction as Halifax due to the new building and the revenues it brings with it so any big entertainment act is a possibility.

From what I understand SMG is able to put some time of contractual blackout as well where if something is coming here they will be exclusive to the maritimes and actually come only to Moncton and not to Halifax. So people from Halifax will actually need to come here to go to the show. I'm sure there will be some instances where the band does both Moncton & Halifax both though, just depends on the act.

Go ahead and fill yer western boots, “ cow/hurtin “ music ain’t where you will find me. Sadly I am still stuck in the 1967-70 rock time, my heyday. Shit, I vividly remember the real Woodstock. I know time to move on but really hard for a 67 yr old to do other that be put to pasture.
