I thought they would have gotten a little more at least a 3rd or maybe even 2nd round pick for a pretty good goalie.

I thought they would have gotten a little more at least a 3rd or maybe even 2nd round pick for a pretty good goalie. Sadly demand was low, not many teams have an opening for an OA netminder... especially one just coming off an injury. Shame because as you said, hes a quality goaltender. |

I welcome the pick for Grametbauer, but wonder if we should have traded him to Bathurst since we have their 1st round pick. He will help them put up some points in the standings.

While there is some truth to this, I wouldn't worry too much. Grametbauer isn't scoring them goals, and as you guys saw last year, when hes overworked he can struggle. I'm not overly worried one way or another... the way Val-d'Or is playing it's like they're challenging anyone to be worse. |

Not familiar with Seitz, is he known for such dirty hits as the one he dished out to Cajkovic?

Not familiar with Seitz, is he known for such dirty hits as the one he dished out to Cajkovic? I haven't seen the hit but he did get a 2 minute minor in the preseason for a high hit on Cajkovic as well.... |

Didn't look like a hit to the head at all to me. It was definitely late and should have been interference but I'm not seeing where the head contact was. At least not from the Rogers replays. |
