Great for Sam Dow. Went from being an unheralded 8th round pick to being in the Opening Night lineup as an underage even if it is only as a call-up for a game.

Great for Sam Dow. Went from being an unheralded 8th round pick to being in the Opening Night lineup as an underage even if it is only as a call-up for a game. He definitely looks like a guy who has average skill but above average hockey sense, I think a good season MAAA could get him to a top 6 spot in the lineup.

The Cats really took over in the 3rd after a sloppy first 40 minutes. Hard to gauge much from the game though as both teams were missing 3-4 key veterans.
