Third meeting of the year already between these two. Cats have outscored Bathurst 11-2 in the first two games. Titan have lost seven in a row and are 1-8 at home. Moncton has won three in a row and are 4-1-1 on the road.
Hopefully they got "taking a team lightly" out of their system in the first period last night. With the way this conference is it's important to rack up the points against Bathurst and SJ if you want to get home ice in the first round.
Lavallée more than likely gets the start tonight.

Bathurst is getting outshot by 20-25 per game lately, unless they take them lightly it should be a pretty easy win.

We should be out to pound Bathurst every time we play them ... keep them at the bottom of the standings so that 1st Round pick (2019) is a high percentage lottery pick.

That was ugly. Cats looked asleep for a lot of the game and the Titan played with energy.
Despite fighting it early on, Lavallée still managed to make some key stops so credit to him for that.

It's a funny thing how strong teams will take a weaker team for granted. Moncton did this 2 games in a row and got away with it...hopefully, they learned their lesson. This new era of hockey has ushered in the "SUPER" line. Pasternak-Bergeron-Marchand, Landeskog-Mackinnon-Rantanen, etc. Moncton has 1 of if not the best #1 line in the Q with Pelletier-Cyr-McKenna. If they keep this line intact instead of spreading the offense, I think they have a chance to go deep in the playoffs. When you have a line that can play 22 minutes a game and dictate the pace and possession its foolish to not throw them out together each and every shift. I'm hoping they try and build a line with Khovanov and MacDonald (when he comes back) and Desnoyers. Capanelli looked good last playoffs with Seitz and Pataki.
