Good game last night , was impressed by some of the rookies, # 25 stewart on D made some good plays and wasn’t backing down also Alcorn looked pretty good made a couple of nice plays in both zones, missed a nice chance to score but played well when he got the ice time. Didn’t really notice Mason but that can be a good thing .
I still I’ll find it hard to believe that Jordan Spence went undrafted , he looks like a veteran out there ! He should be in consideration for rookie of the year if he continues his great play.
Overall pleased the way Rumble is giving the rookies/ call ups ice time seems to be more focused on developing the whole team rather than drive the veterans into the ground like last season, this will help with what should be a deep playoff run !
Moncton still found a way to win , which after scoring the tying goal should have given Chicoutimi the momentum, but Moncton came out wanting the win , and another big goal by khovanov in overtime ( just wish he could stay out of the box) although he seems to play best when he is really engaged into the game.
Happy to see the standing for the league finally posted , easier for the walk up casual fans to keep track of their teams !

Almost threw the game away but I'm sure they'll take the win any way they can get it at the end of a 3-in-3.
Big mistake by Cyr on the tying goal. There's no way he should have taken that shot at the end of the PP that led to an easy Sags break out and eventually the goal. He had a very relieved look on his face after the OT winner. Mental errors will happen though and I would say that's one of the very few mistakes he's made this season.
Luckily a nice rest for everyone (besides Pelletier and Khovanov) before a tough road trip starting Saturday.
Not on-ice related but pretty good atmosphere in the building last night. Keep inviting the minor hockey teams to the games. I was shocked they managed to get people standing up for the player entrance which is a cool look. Love that the whole team skates out at the start instead of the individual introductions. Much more "pro" way of doing it and it gets a bigger pop from the crowd. Kudos to the off-ice staff!

First game in a month for us as flex pass holders. Good game despite a tie last minute, however with OT three on three I was convinced the Cats would end it with a win and they did with 40 sec into the play. Got the 2 points which is what you want, indeed the call ups didn’t look out of place. Strong team this year, not sure what the future will bring as season progresses but will be interesting. Good atmosphere at the Centre for sure and certainly a first rate tribute to the Vets last night, well done as it should be.
