did anybody else get a parking ticket at the wildcats' game on Saturday night? unable to find a handicapped parking spot along Canada street, i parked beside about ten other cars perpendicular to Canada street. after the game i found a ticket from indigo for $45.00 for fees not paid....wtf. there were no signs prohibiting parking or stating that it was a paid lot.

We parked on Canada Street at the first home game for the Cats, never saw any signs at the time, but we got a warning ticket no fines, ok fine, but today just dropped some people off going to the figure skating and it is a cluster fuck for traffic, people jumping out, cars blowing horns what a disaster that place is. City planners have to be morons to build an arena downtown with little to no parking and most people not knowing where they can park or not. Not to mention a bunch of other problems like concession prices and a hole bunch of other game day things in the arena. Bring back the old Coliseum.

Trust me , if we still only had the Coliseum , you would not have seen that World class Figure Skating Show that 1,000’s thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon in downtown Moncton . Virtually a sold out event . We have not seen Professional Figure Skating in Moncton for over a decade , because of the antiquated facilities.

If you haven't figured out where to park yet we probably can't help you. Everybody that has a lot has a security person posted and you can buy parking from them. If you don't see anybody to buy parking from then don't park there. There is lots of on-street parking if you are willing to walk a little (5 mins).

Yeah, at this point theres a very small group of people who still seem dissatisfied with the new arena and there is likely nothing to change their minds. There isnt much point in trying to convince them otherwise if they preferred the experience at the coliseum which aside from cheaper concessions & a large parking lot was an embarrassing facility in 2018 to try & host a major event. The food at the coliseum was barely servable besides mexis (which was similarly priced to Avenir). I havent paid for parking all season & have found a street spot on highfield or st george very easily. If you go early it makes everything much easier. Or if you are lazy or have mobility issues pay $10. I got there just before warmups last night (later than usual) & had no issue finding a spot. Fortanutely for those of us who are using & enjoying the facility there were over 15000 people through the doors this weekend. Im sure the downtown restaurants are loving the extra foot traffic in what would normally be a quiet November weekend. Nothing but postive.

We are flexpac holders in lieu of STH this year and so far we are quite happy at new facility. We lucked out at parking as a very close friend has graciously let us park at her guest parking spot at the apt complex on Weldon during game time. We rarely snack at games so not an issue, also I don’t drink beer at arenas either ,I like my beer but at rinks just isn’t my thing. I drink coffee and it is three bucks for a 12 oz cup at the grab and go spot which is standard for such facilities. Coffee there is very good better than Tim’s swill. If there is one gripe it would be that we can’t redeem our flex tickets online, gotta drive over. It is hard to believe this isn’t possible to do, perhaps at some point it will. Not sure if will ever go back to STH status but experience to date has been very positive.

Be smarter next time! Literally thousands of people have been to the new arena with no problem...
